Whenever the roller has to be shipped for assi-
stance or for some other reason, special attention
must be paid to ensure its correct packing.
• Remove the resistance unit from stand, undoing
the 2 screws fixing it to the support plate.
• Detach all the cables from the resistance unit
(8-core cable – ref. L; power supply cable – ref. U;
cadence sensor cable – ref. H)
• Detach the 8-core cable (ref. L) from the con-
sole.
• Remove the USB key from the PC.
• Remove the cadence sensor from the bicycle
frame.
• Put the cables, cadence sensor, power adapter
• The resistance unit becomes warm when in
use. Wait until it has cooled before touching
shells.
• Do not brake when using the trainer, as this
can permanently damage the roller and the
tyre.
• The stand is designed for use by just one
cyclist.
• Check the safety and stability of the bicycle
before every training session.
• If the quick release is not compatible with the
bushings of the stand, replace it with the one
supplied (T).
• There are no individually usable components
on the inside. The warranty is invalidated if the
unit is opened or tampered with.
• Since the feet are made from soft non-slip
material, during use they may leave rubber
marks on the floor.
• During use of the RealPower with Elastogel
roller, slight wear of the roller is to be conside-
red normal. Tests carried out at Elite show that

console and USB key inside a container in a dry
place.
• Pack the resistance unit in its original box. If this
box is not available, pack the unit, paying parti-
cular attention to the flywheel. During shipments,
packs often undergo mistreatment and very hard
impacts, therefore inadequate packing can result
in permanent damage to the roller. This type of
damage is not covered by the warranty. Pack the
roller as though it had to be dropped with box
from a height of 1 meter.
Note: before sending the roller or any other com-
ponent assistance, always firstly consult Elite or
the distributor.
after continuous use for 20,000 km, roller wear
is around 0.1 mm, and as the total thickness is
15 mm, far greater wear does not prevent cor-
rect operation of the trainer.
Claims due to improper or careless use will not
be acknowledged. Possible slight wear of the
rubber part comes within the norm.
• Use with narrow tyres or with non-optimum
tyre pressures can permanently damage the
Elastogel roller.
• Pay attention to the pressure between tyre
and roller: tighten the plate adjustment screw
three complete turns from when the roller tou-
ches the tyre. If the tyre still slips on the roller,
tighten the screw another turn and make the
pressure on the pedal more progressive. Trai-
ning with the tyre slipping will permanently
damage the Elastogel roller and the tyre.
• The console that is fitted on the handlebar is
not waterproof. Take care not to sweat over the
console, as the sweat could damage the elec-
tronic circuit.
• Do not keep the RealPower in wet or damp
places. This could damage the electronic com-
ponents.
