11 Mounting

11.1 Removing/fitting front cover
WARNING  chapter 7

1. Mount front cover mounting aid [M] (
Fig.) and fit locking bolt [S] opposite.
2. Remove the 8 screws that hold the front
cover in place.
3. Unscrew locking bolt [S] and take off front
cover.
4. To fit the front cover, proceed in reverse
order. Ensure that the cover is seated
correctly and no false air can be drawn in.
11.2 Mount Flat unit on the ceiling or
wall

Before installing, have customer finish

all work – ventilation unit cannot be
moved once the piping has been con-
nected.
Ensure sufficient space for the add-on
i
components.
Provide sufficient working space for op-
i
erational and maintenance work. Keep
at least 70 cm in front of the unit free.
5. Firmly screw down ventilation unit to ceil-
ing/wall with appropriate mounting material
[A], [B] or [C] (4 items each). Mounting
material is to be supplied by the customer.
Note weight of 50 kg.
A Threaded rods (provided by customer)
1. Mount threaded rods on the ceiling.
2. Fit ventilation unit and secure to prevent it
from falling.
B Optional: Ceiling fixing bracket with
damping element (article no. 0092.0566)
1. Fit the 4 fixing brackets at the side of the
housing plates of the ventilation unit
( Fig.).
2. Firmly screw down ventilation unit to the
ceiling with appropriate mounting material.
C Universal fixing bracket
(article no. 0092.0567)
1. Fit the 4 fixing brackets at the side of the
housing plates of the ventilation unit
( Fig.).
2. Firmly screw down ventilation unit to the
ceiling/wall with appropriate mounting
material.
Because of the enthalpy heat exchang-
i
er, there is no condensate drain.
11.3 Information about air channels and
insulating
Air channels, protective grilles, inspection
openings etc. should be produced, installed
and insulated according to the requirements
of the planning office's planning documents.
Outside and outgoing air connections should be
insulated to prevent diffusion in order to avoid
condensate forming on the ventilation unit.
