Heat pad
• Before cleaning the pad, unplug it from the mains outlet and let it cool down
for at least ten minutes.
• Clean the HKS and HKF (PVC-surface) heat pads using a soft, damp cloth.
Do not let water enter the heat pad or the control unit. After cleaning, dry
off the unit with a dry cloth or towel. Only use the unit again when it is
completely dry.
• The HKC, HKM and HKN (cotton surface) heat pads can be cleaned with a
brush when dry.
• Never use strong detergents or hard brushes.
• You should untangle the cable from time to time.
• Store the unit in a clean and dry place, laid out flat with nothing covering
or resting on top of it.
Heat pad cover
• Remove the heat pad from its cover.
• Dry clean the removable cover or as detailed in the instructions on the label.
This product must not be disposed together with the domestic waste.
All users are obliged to hand in all electrical or electronic devices, regardless
of whether or not they contain toxic substances, at a municipal or commer-
cial collection point so that they can be disposed of in an environmentally
acceptable manner.
Consult your municipal authority or your dealer for information about disposal.
