Select an ALU wheel type if one or more stick-on
weights will be used.
When selected, the display will appear as:
ALU1: Refer to Figure 5.3.2.2-1.
ALU2: Refer to Figure 5.3.2.2-2.

• After entering the dimensions (Chapter 5.3.1), spin
the wheel.
• Apply the clip-on/stick-on weights at the 12 o'clock
positions indicated (according to the selected
program).
• Perform a check spin when done.

Fit the motorcycle rapid flange as indicated in Chapter
5.1 and insert the Offset reader extension.
When selected, the display appears as shown in
Figure 5.3.2.3-1. (Note that the motorcycle led is
lit).

• Enter the dimensions (Chapter 5.3.1) and spin the
wheel.
• Apply the weights on the planes indicated by the
fully illuminated weight application lights in the 12
o'clock position.
• Perform a check spin when done.

ALU balancing mode.

To return to Normal mode from any ALU
programme, press "STOP".
In Alu 4 or Alu 5 mode, the right side
(outside plane) weight is to be placed on
a vertical plane equal to where the wheel
meets the balancers flange If you can not
place the weight on this plane you will
need to increase or reduce the weight
amount the balancer is requesting
dependent on which direction you must
move the weight. Refer to Figure 5.3.2.2-
6.
