Wintering advice
8.1 – If you wish to take your pool down
Proceed in the reverse order of assembly
ATTENTION : Do not lift the liner while there is still water in the pool.
Take the following precautions when disassembling the pool:
Empty the pool by siphoning with a pipe.
Wash all components with soapy water (liner included). Do not use products containing soda
Rince with a hose and dry all parts (to prevent perforating the liner, only clean it inside the pool. Dry it in shade,
as soon as possible. Do not leave it exposed to air for a long period).
In the event of accidentally perforating the liner, it can be repaired easily – even underwater – using a special
liner repair glue.
When the liner is properly dry (do not apply talcum powder), place it in an opaque plastic bag and put it in a
closed cardboard box. Store the liner in a dry location, away from freezing conditions, and away from any contact
with sources of heat.
Roll-up the metal wall without folding it, and use a cord to maintain it reeled.
8.2 – If you do not wish to take your poll down
Never empty your pool.
Remove floating debris (leaves, twigs, insects, etc) using a strainer.
Clean the bottom of the pool using a suction cleaner.
Fill with water to 5 cm from the top.
Check the pH using a tester kit, and adjust the pH if necessary.
Use a wintering product as a function of the volume of water in the pool (refer to the instructions on the
packaging of the product).
Stir the water well with a wooden broom handle.
Cover the pool with a wintering sheet.
if you do not cover your pool and the water freezes, do not break the ice that forms. In periods of
extremely cold weather, you can place a floating object in the pool to reduce the likelihood of ice
