Changing the carrier frequency
The remote control system is factory-set to transmis-
sion channel 1 (carrier frequency 433.2 MHz). If two
control systems are operated simultaneously, the
second system must operate on channel 8.
1) Pierce the small circle of the channel
scale on the label situated on the rear
side of the remote control. Use a small
screwdriver to adjust the rotary switch
underneath the label to channel 8.
2) By opening or closing up to three solder bridges
(16), set the receiving module to the same channel
as the remote control according to the following
table:
Carrier

433.2 MHz
433.4 MHz
433.6 MHz
433.8 MHz
434.0 MHz

Activating the control voltage
If a 12 V DC voltage is required for control of a unit or
a function, the control voltage output (11) can be
assigned to one of the control commands 1 to 8:
Bridge the contact surface pair (13) corresponding to
the control command number with a soldering tin point.
If the respective output is activated now via the remote
control, there will be a 12 V voltage at the connection
(11). The maximum load of this voltage is 0.5 A.
4.3
Adjusting a control function
The control function for control commands 1 to 8 can
be adjusted by bridging the two contact surface pairs
JP1 and JP2 (15) with a soldering tin point:

2)

3)
Selective switch
3)
The output for the control command is activated as long as
1)
the corresponding button (4) on the remote control is kept
pressed.
2)
Actuate the button (4) on the remote control once = output
activated, actuate the button once again = the output is
deactivated
3)
By pressing a button (4), the corresponding output is acti-
vated and all other outputs are deactivated.

5 Making Connections
5.1
Speaker
A speaker with a minimum impedance of 4 Ω can be
operated via the connections (18) = positive pole and
(19) = negative pole. The volume can be adjusted
with the trimming potentiometer (17). The output
power is 500 mW max.

AF output for separate amplifier
6
The audio signal which is picked up by the microphone
(1) of the remote control can be picked off at the
connections (9) = signal and (10) = ground and e. g. be
fed to an amplifier. The output level is independent of
the trimming potentiometer (17) and is 500 mV max.
5.3
Control voltage
4
If the control voltage has been activated (chapter 4.2),
it can be picked off at the connections (11) = +12 V and
x
(12) = ground with a corresponding control command.
x
The maximum load of the control voltage is of 500 mA.

5.4
Control command outputs
5.4.1 AV-101RM
With model AV-101RM, the control command outputs
1 to 8 respectively are designed as open collectors
x
and can be connected to the contact surfaces (14).
With the output activated, the respective contact sur-
face is connected to ground via a transistor (see dia-
gram below item number 14 in fig. 2). The maximum
load of each output is 200 mA. The operating voltage
of the connected consumer must not exceed 12 V
max. If a higher current or a higher voltage is re-
quired, a relay or a control amplifier must be inserted.
5.4.2 AV-102RM
With model AV-102RM, the control command outputs
1 to 8 are designed as relay control contacts (nor-
mally open contacts). With the relay control contacts,
units with an operating voltage of 230 V~ and a cur-
rent consumption of 10 A max. can be controlled. The
relay control contacts are led through the screw ter-
minals (21).
5.5
Operating voltage
x
Feed the operating voltage for the receiving module to
the connections (7) = positive pole and (8) = ground.
x
Model AV-102RM requires a stabilized DC voltage of
12 V and model AV-101RM a DC voltage between 8 V
and 15 V. The current consumption is as follows:
AV-102RM – 0.7 A max.
AV-101RM – 0.7 A max. if only one output has been
activated or 2.2 A max. if all outputs have been acti-
vated and have a load of 0.2 A respectively and the
control channel has an additional load of 0.5 A.
