1) Check that the machine has not been damaged during transport.
2) Remove the machine from the packaging taking care not to damage levers and wires. Use an
appropriate lifting machine (min. lifting capacity 200 kg). Before putting the machine on the ground,
mount the wheels and properly fix them via the fastening bolts (fig. 3, n. 8).
3) For transport reasons the machine is delivered with the handlebar in sickle-bar position
(handlebar over the engine). To turn the handlebar into the walking tractor position push the lever
downwards (fig. 3, no. 12) ant turn the handlebar of 180°clockwise. Do it slowly and pay attention
non to force the mechanism and not to damage the cables. Then insert the gear and PTO control
levers into the lower eyelets (fig. 3, no. 28). Also position the safety device preventing the rotary
tiller and the reverse gear from being engaged at the same time (fig. 2).
4) Before attaching the implement, grease the machine PTO coupling (fig. 3, n. 20). Then connect
the implement (e.g. rotary tiller, plough etc.) and completely tighten the securing nuts (fig. 4C).
5) Add engine oil (please refer to the engine manual).
6) Add gearbox oil – fig. 6 (MP 80W 90 oil, or international equivalent API GL5 oil, US MIL-L-
2105D, quantity 1,9 litres.
