1.1 General Information

• Use the NUK ® Expressive
• Keep small parts that may be swallowed out of the reach of children as this can be a choking hazard.
• If ointments or creams are used, please check in the manufacturer's directions whether the ointment or
cream needs to be removed before nursing or expressing milk.
• Only use NUK accessories for this breast pump.

• If accessories from another manufacturer are used, the pump may not function properly.
• If the breast milk is intended for a premature baby, it is essential that you follow your medical
professional's advice.
• Do not sterilize pump in the microwave.

1.2 Hygiene Tips

Hygiene is particularly important when using a breast pump. This applies to all the individual pump components
as well as to your own personal hygiene. We recommend a daily shower or to wash your nipples in clean water.
Where possible, avoid using soap on your nipples, as this may cause irritation. When on the go, NUK
Wipes are a convenient option for cleaning the nipple area before and after feeding.
