Cause
Water circulating in the appliance can cause noise.
Depending on the fan speed selected, noises can occur
at the air outlet.
As the appliance draws air from the room, unpleasant
odours, caused for example by heaving smoking, can
build up in the appliance. The air that is subsequently
emitted can sometimes take on these odours.
The appliance is not switched on.
The fuse/MCB has tripped or the fuse is faulty.
The thermostat has not enabled heating because the
room temperature is higher than the set temperature
selected.
The flow temperature is lower than 25 °C. A thermostat
has switched the fan off.
The internal safety temperature controller has
switched the appliance off.
Air cannot flow freely inside the appliance.
The filter is dirty and reduces the air volume that can
be transported.
Windows and doors are open.
Set temperature has been adjusted incorrectly.
The heating system flow temperature is too low.
The heat demand of the room is too high.
After switching the appliance on, the fan does not start
until the appliance has been supplied with hot water.

» Remedy
The appliance is not faulty and no action is required.
The appliance is not faulty. Change the fan speed if necessary.
Clean the fluff filter.
Switch ON the appliance at the ON/OFF switch.
Check the fuse/MCB in your fuse box/distribution panel.
No action is required. The appliance will start again when the room
temperature drops.
This is not a fault. For reasons of comfort, the fan only switches ON at
flow temperatures above 25°C to prevent cold air from being blown into
the room. If the flow temperature drops below 18°C, the fan switches
OFF.
The appliance has a safety temperature controller that switches the
appliance off if it overheats. After the cause has been removed (for
example air outlet or inlet apertures covered) and the appliance has
cooled down, operation starts again.
Ensure that no objects (e.g. curtains) near the air outlet or air inlet
apertures are obstructing the air flow.
Clean the fluff filter.
Close all windows and doors to prevent heat from escaping.
Adjust the room temperature with the left rotary selector.
Increase the flow temperature at the control unit of your heating
system.
Select a higher fan stage.
No action is required. The appliance emits heat after two to three
minutes.
