• The monitor, the remote control and the wall power supply are intended for dry
indoor use only.
• Only use the wall power supply plug included in delivery to power the monitor
The remote control may only be powered by a 3 V/DC coin cell (type: CR2025).
• Capacitors in the device may still be charged even after it has been disconnected
from all power sources.
• The wall power supply may never be plugged in or unplugged with wet hands.
• Never pull on the cable of the wall power supply . Always unplug it by pulling out
the housing.
• When installing/mounting the monitor, make sure that the connection cable is nei-
ther pinched nor damaged by sharp edges.
• Remove the wall power supply from the wall socket if the device is not in use over
a period of time.
• Always pull the wall power supply out of the mains socket before cleaning the
monitor.
• For safety reasons, always disconnect the power supply from the mains socket
during thunderstorms.
• Never replace damaged mains cables yourself. If necessary, disconnect the appli-
ance from the mains and take it to a specialist workshop.
• Never pour liquids on electrical devices. This causes serious danger of fire or
electric shock. If such a case does occur, disconnect the wall power supply from
the mains socket immediately and consult an expert.
• Maintenance, adjustment and repairs may only be carried out by a qualified spe-
cialist or a specialised repair shop.

5. Battery information

• Batteries do not belong in the hands of children.
• Please observe the correct polarity (plus/+ and minus/-) when inserting the battery.
• Do not leave batteries lying around. Pets or small children might swallow them. If swallowed, consult
a doctor immediately.
• Leaking or damaged batteries can burn your skin if touched. Therefore, use protective gloves.
• Make sure that the batteries are neither short-circuited nor thrown into a fire. There is danger of
explosion!
• Do not recharge normal batteries. There is danger of explosion! Only charge rechargeable batteries
intended for this purpose; use a suitable battery charger.
• If not used for a longer period (e.g. when stored), remove the inserted battery. Over time batteries
may leak and cause damage to the product, which voids the warranty/guarantee!
• Read chapter "19. Disposal" about the environmentally friendly disposal of batteries and recharge-
able batteries.
