Before plugging the uncapping machine into a line power socket,
make sure that the main switch (fig. 1 B-C) is set to 'O' (as shown in
fig. 1) and that the key is NOT inserted on the panel to the left of the
machine.
Plug the DV2 uncapping machine into a power socket.
Make sure that the mushroom-head emergency button on the right of
the control panel, has not been operated.
Turn the main switch (fig. 1 B) to the right.
Control
'RISCALDAMENTO INSERITO' ('Heating' (fig. 1 E) then wait a few
seconds to allow the knives to heat up to the pre-set temperature.
Set the thermostat (fig. 1 D) as illustrated in paragraph '4.0
Thermoregulator operating instructions' of this manual.
The default temperature – which has been found on average correct
– is 80/90°C.
