• Use this product in dry indoor areas only and never outdoors.
• Place the product on a flat, sturdy and slip-resistant surface.
• Keep a minimum safety clearance of 15 cm around the product.
• Protect this product from extreme heat and cold as well as from direct sunlight and
dust.
• In order to reduce the risk of fire and electric shock, do not expose the product
to fire (fireplace, grill, candles, cigarettes and so on) or water (water drops, water
splashes, vases, tubs, ponds and so on).
• Warning! Do not use this product near water or heavy moisture; e.g. in a damp
basement or beside a swimming pool or bathtub.
• This product is not intended for commercial use.
• It is designed for household use and similar applications only, such as for example:
- in employee cafeterias, in stores, offices and other working environments;
- by customers in hotels, motels and other residential facilities;
- in Bed and Breakfast establishments;
- in farm houses.
• Risk of burning! The product's housing becomes very hot during use. Touch the
glass jug only by its handle.
• Do not move or transport the product during use or while there is hot water in the
glass jug. Spraying hot water poses a risk of burning.
• Never place the glass jug on a hot stove top, hotplate or other heat source.
• Do not disassemble the glass jug.
• Never submerge the glass jug in water or other liquids to prevent water from
entering the space between the interior and exterior walls.
• The glass jug is not dishwasher-safe.
• Never use the glass jug if it is damaged. Handle the vacuum can carefully.
• Cease using the glass jug if the handle is loosened or lost its stability.
• The glass jug is intended exclusively for use with this coffee maker.
• The product must only be used with all original parts such as the glass jug and filter
element and as long as it is not damaged.
• Never attempt to replace parts yourself. If a part needs to be replaced, contact
authorised service agent.
• Make sure not to overfill the water tank.
• Do not operate the product when there is no water in the water tank.
• Fill the product with water only when it is unplugged.
• Clean the product and all other accessories after each use.
• Follow the instructions in the chapter Cleaning and care.
