Decimal point
A decimal point can be set in menu item A.
The decimal point can also be activated with the characters 2C
and 2E
via the
h
h
serial interface. For this purpose, setting 0 (no decimal point) must be selected in
menu item A.
A decimal point set in menu item A has priority over a decimal point activated via the
serial interface.
Leading zero suppression
If leading zeros are to be displayed or suppressed can be set in menu item C.
Display test
In menu item F, you can set whether a short-time display test is automatically carried
out after power-on.
The display test can be also activated via the serial interface with the following
command:
Display test on: $T1
Display test off: $T0
Display test has priority over blanking and the flash function.
Demo operation mode
If the setting
(Play) is selected on menu item F, random characters are dis-
played one after the other. In this case, no control of the unit is possible.
Flashing
The flashing function is activated with the following command:
Flashing on: $F1
Flashing off: $F0
If $F1 is transmitted in the data string, the subsequent characters flash until the end
of the data string or until $F0 is transmitted in the data string.
