Risk of injury of fingers and hands due to the saw blade when guiding the
workpiece inappropriately.
•
Injuries if the workpiece is thrown away when holding and guiding it in
appropriately, e.g. working without stop.
•
Health risk due to noise. The admissible noise level is exceeded during
working with this machine. Always wear personal protective equipments
such as hearing protection.
•
Injuries due to faulty saw blade. Check the saw blade regularly and before
each use for damage.
•
Danger due to electricity, use of improper electric connection cables.
•
When using special equipment, the operating instructions of this equip
ment must be read thoroughly and complied with.
•
Furthermore, less obvious remaining risks can exist despite all protective
measures.
•
Remaining risks can be minimised, if the safety instructions and Intended
use as well as the entire operating instructions are observed.
Operation
Observe the safety instructions!
Important note: The machine must only be commissioned when the protection
and safety equipment is completely mounted.

Setting the angle scale
Release the star button (G) and bring the saw bench (D) to a right angle in

relation to the saw blade.
• Use a 90° angle (E) to measure the right angle between the blade and the
bench. The saw blade should be 90° to the angle.
• Close the star button (G) again when the distance between the blade and the
90° angle is at a minimum. The bench should then be at 90° to the saw blade.
• Release the lock screw (F) and bring the indicator to the zero position. Fas

Switch the machine off and disconnect the pow
er supply unit before making any adjustments or
carrying out maintenance works, or replacing the
saw blade.
Wear gloves when handling the saw blade.
