Commissioning and Operation

7.1

Making presettings

The following presettings have to be made:
W

Setting the baud rate (DDL mode)

W
Assigning an address to the bus coupler
W
Setting the output data length for valves
W
Selecting the valve supply
All of these settings are made using the switches beneath the
PG fittings A and B.
Proceed as follows for all of the presettings:
1. Remove the corresponding PG fitting.
2. Adjust the corresponding setting as described below.
3. Refit the PG fitting in its original position. Pay attention that
the sealing rings are positioned correctly.
7.1.1
Setting the baud rate (DDL mode)
All participants in a DDL line must be set to the same baud
rate.
Changes during operation
Changes to the DDL mode and the addressing are only taken
over after a voltage reset.

Never change the settings during operation.
O
Turn the device off before changing the address setting.
