Cutting with attachment combs (depending on model)
Depending on the desired haircut, the equipment can be operated with or without
attachment combs. To this end, the cutting length adjustment lever has to be raised (Fig.
3a). Depending on the model, attachment combs #1 (3 mm), #2 (6 mm), #3 (10 mm),
#4 (13 mm) are included in the scope of the supply.
Attaching/Removing the attachment combs
• Place the attachment comb onto the cutting edge of the cutting set and press it down
onto the cutting set in the direction of the housing until it clicks into position (Fig. 4a).
• The attachment comb can easily be removed by lifting the hook in the direction of the
arrow (Fig. 4b).

Cleaning and Care

• Do not immerse the equipment in water!
• After each use, remove cut hairs from the cutting set using the cleaning brush.
• Only wipe the equipment with a soft or slightly damp cloth.
• Never use solvents or scouring agents!
• Do not use any other cleaning agents.
• For long-lasting good cutting performance, it is important to oil the cutting set frequent-
ly (Fig. 5). Only use cutting set oil (enclosed) or order no. 23872–25.
• Cutting set oil and hygienic spray are available from your dealer or our Service Centre.
• If the cutting performance deteriorates after long use in spite of regular cleaning and
oiling, the cutting set should be replaced.
• Use the blade guard when the equipment is not in use.
• Always store the equipment with the blade guard in place.
