Lift the canopy at the rear, then slide it back slightly to
remove it from the fuselage. Set the canopy aside in a
safe location.

Check the threads for the cabane struts using a 4-40 x
3/8-inch socket head cap screw. Clear the threads with a
4-40 tap if necessary.

Attach the cabane struts using 4-40 x 3/8-inch socket
head cap screws and #4 washers. Use a 3/32-inch hex
wrench to install the screws. Make sure to use thread
lock on all the screws.

Use a hobby knife with a #11 blade to cut an opening
to pass the servo extension into the fuselage when it is
installed.

Lightly sand the unpainted side of the cabane strut
covers to give the adhesive a surface to adhere to. Do
not remove the paint when sanding the covers.

Remove any debris from the covers using a paper towel
and isopropyl alcohol.

Use a hobby knife with a #11 blade to cut a an opening
to pass the servo extension through the blue cover.

Check the fi t of the extension through the cover and
adjust the size of the opening as necessary to fi t the
extension through the opening.
10. Slide the covers over the cabane struts. The yellow cover
is placed toward the front of the fuselage, and the blue
cover toward the rear of the fuselage.
11. Thread a 6-32 x 1/2-inch socket head cap screw into
each of the blind nuts in the top wing center section to
clear the threads in the blind nut.
