5. Hardware installation
Refer to the illustrations on page 2 of this manual.
1. Choose a location for the camera, keeping following guidelines in
mind:
o do not install the camera in locations where extremely high or
low temperatures or excessive vibrations may occur.
o avoid mounting the camera near high electro-magnetic fields.
o do not aim the camera at the sun or other extremely bright
objects or reflections (e.g. metal doors).
2. Unscrew the mounting plate by turning it counter-clockwise.
Punch the cable slot in the mounting plate.
Use the mounting plate to determine the position of the mounting
holes. Drill the holes.
Fix the mounting plate on the ceiling or wall with the included
plug and screws.
3. Connect the included power cable to the camera, power supply
and video input. Guide the power cable through the cable slot and
fix the camera onto the mounting plate.
4. You can now manually adjust the camera according to the image
on your monitor.
