Putting into service and operation for EP 400-DS
Screw the telescopic suction pipe (5) into the elbow (6).

Screw the telescopic suction pipe with elbow into the R 2" fitting on the tank.

Place the gear pump (1) onto the tank. If using the pump retainer for the 700 / 1000 litre tank,
the carrying handle on the pump can be removed.
Run the return hose of the safety valve (9) back to tank.

Connect the suction hose (2) to the pump (1) and the elbow (6).

Fit the oil filler gun (4) and pressure hose (3) to the pressure side of the pump.

Plug the 220V mains plug into the socket, first making sure that the pump is switched off.

Before putting the unit into service, check all connections for firm seating and leaks.
The equipment is now ready for use.

Activate the pump On-switch. Operate the oil filler gun until delivery starts.

When the gun is closed, the pump will build up to max. pressure and then automatically switch
off.
If the pressure switch does not operate perfectly, follow the separate instruction for setting the
-
pressure switch. (in the housing of the pressure switch)
If the equipment is not being used, stop the electric gear pump.
