4 Power Supply

For power supply, two 1.5 V batteries of size AA are
required.

Only insert two batteries of the same type and
always replace both of them.

If the transmitter is not in use for a longer period
of time, always remove the batteries to prevent
damage due to battery leakage.
Do not dispose of used batteries in the
household waste; always take them to a
special waste disposal, e. g. collection
container at your retailer.
Firmly press the two buttons (7) to unlock the bat-
tery compartment cover (8) while folding up the
cover at the same time. Insert the batteries with the
positive and negative poles as indicated in the bat-
tery compartment. Firmly close the cover to lock it.
5 Operation
1) Attach the microphone provided to its clamp.
Then connect the microphone cable to the micro-
phone input (3). (To disconnect later, press the
black unlock button when removing the mini XLR
inline jack.) Attach the clamp to your clothes (e. g.
tie, lapel) as close to your mouth as possible.
It will also be possible to use another suit-
able JTS microphone (
2) Before switching on the transmitter, set the
receiver unit to an interference-free transmis-
sion frequency

3) Set the on/off switch to the position ON. The dis-
play (1) shows the group (

4) Via the REMOSET function, the transmitter is
automatically set to the transmission frequency
of the receiver unit. For correct operation, make
sure that
– the transmitter is not too far away from the re-
ceiver (maximum range of REMOSET trans-
mission: 10 m)
– the automatic frequency matching for the
transmitter has been enabled
– the transmitter and the receiver unit have
been set to the same identification number

– the transmitter is not locked
Check the settings on the transmitter and
correct them, if necessary. Then activate the
REMOSET function on the receiver unit

frequency is matched, the display backlight on
the transmitter is blue. The display briefly shows
and the transmitter will be set to the
channel and the channel group of the receiver
unit.

5) Speak / sing into the microphone or, in case of an
instrument microphone, feed an audio signal to
the microphone. The display of the receiver unit
shows the volume level of the microphone. To
readjust it, change the sensitivity

If the level is too high even at the lowest sen-
sitivity, attenuate it by 6 dB or 20 dB via the
recessed rotary switch (9) on the rear. To set the
switch to the desired position, turn it with the
small screwdriver provided.
6) The transmitter is provided with a lock function
to prevent accidental change of settings or
switching off chapter 5.1.6.
7) Attach the transmitter to your clothes via the belt
clip on the rear.
8) To switch off the transmitter, set the on / off
switch (2) to the position OFF. The display
shows . Then the transmitter is switched off.

5.1 Setting the transmitter

When the transmitter is not locked, press the button
SET (4) to activate the setting modes one after
another: group (keep button pressed for a while)
→ channel → sensitivity → transmission power
→ automatic frequency matching → identification
number → lock function.
