CYLINDER HEAD AND PUSH ROD
Push rod inspection
1. Measure:
9 Push rod runout
Out of specification ® Replace the
defective part.
Push rod runout limit:
0.5 mm (0.02 in)
Push rod installation
1. Loosen:
9 Locknut (rocker arm)
9 Valve adjuster
2. Install:
9 Cylinder head gasket
(to cylinder body)
9 Cylinder head ass'y
Push rod 1
9
NOTE:
When installing the push rod 1, check it's
9
connect position on the holder 2 of valve
lifter.
9 Adjust valve clearance after installing
push rods.
