1. Install:
Needle valve 3

Float pin 2

NOTE:
When setting the float 1 into the carbure-

tor, hock the needle valve 3 into the float
and insert the needle valve seat.
When installing the float pin 2, tap the

float pin in arrow direction 4 to the pivot
of the pipe joint side 5 as shown.
9 After installation, make sure that the float
operates smoothly.
2. Measure:
Float height a
9
Out of specification ® Replace.
Float height:
18.0~19.0 mm (0.71~0.75 in)
NOTE:
9 Make sure to tilt the carburetor ass'y
clockwise 45° for needle valve with spring
no load, when measuring the float height.
9 Take measurement at the side end of the
float, as shown.
