CAREFULLY BEFORE INSTALLATION
Info
Flexa THEMA shower enclosures are available in the following mod-
els: ST2 - ELT3 - ELT4 - ELT 22, either as a left model (LH,
i
2) or a right model (RH,
the functions of each individual model, please see the price list and
general catalogue.
All FLEXA THEMA models are, however, supplied in three separate
packages (shower tray+front panel+top, glass panel set and fixture pan-
el) to make it easier for them to be taken into the place of installation.
For the ST2 model, the top is supplied as an optional, in separate
packaging to the shower tray.
IMPORTANT: when the goods arrive, check they are
intact, in order to lodge any necessary complaint
promptly against the forwarding agent.

These shower units must only be installed in corners (on tile fit-
ted walls and floors) without baseboards.

For special maintenance (e.g. a broken pipe) it is nec-
essary to move the shower enclosure away from the wall. It is, there-
fore, advisable to leave the indicated area free, or only keep it for ob-
jects that are easy to move. Given the considerable weight of the parts
to be assembled, the assembly and installation of the shower en-
closure must be carried out by two people.
Provision for plumbing and electrical connections

Provide a connection with the hot and cold water sup-
ply (internal ø of supply pipes: minimum 14 mm).
The outlets (90° downward-facing pipe-fittings, 1/2" male couplings)
must be prepared in the wall and connected to the mixer unit (fit-
ted with female couplings), using the two 1 m 1/2" high capacity flex-
ible male-female hoses provided (internal ø 10 mm, 1 m long).

1b-2b
In order to make installation easy, it is advisable to
prepare a wall drainage point (ø 40 mm) at floor level, as shown.

A connection to the electric mains and to the earth
system must be made using an approved cable about 1.5 m long and
prepared as shown.
The ST2 model does not require connection to the electric mains.
If you wish to connect the ELT model to an alarm circuit, you will need
to prepare for its connection.
The proper functioning of the FLEXA THEMA shower enclosure re-
quires pressures to be balanced and a continuous supply of hot and
cold water. Pipes of adequate diameter must also be used, as indi-
cated in the "Plumbing specifications" table.
ATTENTION: (IEC 60335-1/A2) The pressure of the
water system supplying water to the appliance must
not exceed 600 k Pa (6 bar).

Shower tray installation
Remove the shower tray from its packaging, which also contains the

Position the shower tray in the installation corner and
i
1-
connect the flexible hose to the shower tray drainage column. Then
apply silicone accurately to the connection points.
At this stage, we recommend that you check for water
tightness. After temporarily connecting the flexible hose to
the wall-mounted drain, pour a bucket of water onto the
shower tray. Remember to lift up the fabric-finish hose con-
nected to the side of the drainage column.

For correct assembly of the various components, the
walls in the installation corner must be vertical. The wall compensation
system allows the recovery of crookedness up to 10 mm.

Compensator Installation
To find the correct position for the compensators on the walls
(for both height and the distance from the corner of the wall),
it is advisable to temporarily position the shower enclosure
in the installation corner and mark the exact position of the
compensators with a pencil. After this operation you must
pull the shower enclosure away from the walls again (so that
you can drill them in order to fit the compensators). All pos-
sible shifting errors will be corrected by nominal dimensions,
caused by the walls and/or the walls/floor not squaring up.

the distance from the floor carefully, so that the compensators are per-
fectly lined up with the the lower edge of the shower tray and with
the top of the glass panels and the inspection panel.
The dimensions shown in
