Introduction
...+HFS
An HF sensor luminaire features an integrated high frequency
motion detector for detection of movement.
The sensor sends out active high frequency electromagnetic
waves (5.8 GHz) and responds to modifications to these waves
reflected back from persons or objects.
The transmission capacity of the sensor is less than 1mW, and
as such is approx. 1000 times less than the transmission capa-
city of a mobile phone (GSM) or microwave.
Safety notes
Please keep the operating and installation instructions for
...+HFS for future reference.
Please make these operating and installation instructions
available for other users of sensor luminaires.
Valid safety and accident prevention regulations must be adhe-
red to.
Please observe the corresponding installation steps from the
installation instructions of the luminaire to be installed.
Work with the electrical devices of the sensor luminaires must
only be carried out with disconnected power supply.
Sensor luminaires are not suitable for applications other than
those specified here.
Other applications are considered improper.
Safe operation cannot be guaranteed if sensor luminaires are
used improperly.

Function
When a movement is detected in the HF detection field, the
luminaire is switched on automatically for a defined hold time.
The range is a maximum of 8 m to the front with wall moun-
ting. The range/sensitivity can be set steplessly between 20%
and 100%.
The HF sensor also features a daylight sensor that switches
on the luminaire only when the preset light threshold has been
reached or when the light level falls below this threshold.
