Cleaning and Storage

PLEASE NOTE!
Before doing any cleaning, read the "Safety Instructions"!
Before cleaning the heated underblanket, always detach the controller.
Only ever wash the heated underblanket by hand! Do not clean it in a washing ma-
chine or dry-clean it.
Do not use fabric softener!
Do not iron! Do not bleach!
Only ever allow the heated underblanket to dry in the air. Do not place it in a tumble
dryer, put it on a radiator or dry it with a hair dryer or similar object!
Do not use any sharp or abrasive cleaning agents or cleaning pads!
Disconnect the heated underblanket from the controller (1). Then wash it by hand in
lukewarm water with a little mild detergent. Hang it up to dry or place it down fl at on
a surface.
Wipe down the controller with a damp cloth if necessary. Then dry it off with a soft
cloth.
Fold the heated underblanket loosely and store it together with the controller in a
cool, dry place which is protected from direct sunlight and is out of the reach of chil-
dren and animals.
Do not place any objects on the folded underblanket so that it is not compressed.

Troubleshooting

It takes a little while for the heated underblanket to get warm. If it is still not warm half an
hour after it has been switched on, check whether ...
... the connecting plug (8) of the controller (1) is correctly inserted in the socket (4) (and
the clip (3) is closed).
... the mains plug is inserted in the plug socket.
... the plug socket is defective. Try another plug socket.
... the fuse of the electrical distributor has been triggered.
It is possible that the overheating protection has been triggered. This can happen if the
underblanket is used incorrectly (e.g. folded up) and heat accumulates. In this case, the
underblanket is damaged and can not be put into operation again.
If the problem cannot be solved with the steps that are listed, contact the customer
service department. Do not attempt to repair a defective electrical device yourself!
