OPERATION
5. With the workpiece firmly secured, turn tool on as described above.
6. Move the tool in long steady strokes parallelto the grain using some lateral
motion to overlap the strokes by as much as 75%. DO NOT apply excessive
pressure - let the tool do the work. Excessive pressure will result in poor
handling, vibration, and unwanted sanding marks.
SAWING
Sawing accessories are suitable for sawing thin sheet steel, wood and plastics.
INSERTING AND RELEASING BATTERY PACK
Release battery pack from tool by pressing on both sides of the battery release
tabs and pull downward (Fig. A).
To insert battery, align battery and slide battery pack into tool until it locks into
position.
Do not force.
WARNING: If battery release tabs are cracked or otherwise damaged,
do not insert into tool. Battery can fall out during operation
MAINTENANCE
Tips for maintaining maximum battery life
1) Charge the battery pack before it is completely discharged. Always stop tool
operation and charge the battery pack when you notice a decrease in tool
power.
2) Never recharge a fully charged battery pack. Overcharging shortens the
battery service life.
3) Charge the battery pack with room temperature at 10°C-40°C (50°F-104°F)
and let a hot battery pack cool down before charging it.
4) Charge the Lithium-ion battery pack when you do not use it for more than six
months.
CAUTION! Place the direction of rotation direction switch into the middle
position before carrying out any tasks on the device, e.g. changing tools or
maintenance, or before transporting or storing the device. Inadvertent operation
of the On/Off switch may result in injury.
