Dispatch
• To avoid condensation, allow the contact glass to
adjust to room temperature for several hours before
unpacking.
• The contact glass should be verified for damage af-
ter unpacking.
• Defective contact glasses should always be retur-
ned in an appropriate packaging.
Operation
• Only qualified and trained personnel should operate the
equipment, the training is at the owner's responsibility.
• In order to avoid possible eye damage, the sun
should never be viewed through the ocular.
Control
• The contact glasses must be checked after exposure
to external force (e.g. unintentional shocks or being
allowed to fall) and if necessary they are to be retur-
ned to the manufacturer for repair.
Warranty, product liability
• The contact glass should be operated in accordance
with the chapter 'Safety'. Incorrect operation can da-
mage the contact glass. Thus no warranty claims can
be accepted.
• Continued use of a contact glass that has been dama-
ged by incorrect operation can lead to personal injury.
The manufacturer cannot accept liability in this case.
• Repairs and alterations on this contact glass should
only be carried out by Haag-Streit. Contact your Haag-
Streit distributor.
