Preparing the balance for density determinations

This section describes how you can convert your balance in next to no time to determine densities. The
illustrations at the bottom of this page show the balance prepared for density measurements.
• Remove the weighing pan from the weighing chamber.
Density kit mounted on:
XS balances
• Insert the support plate (1) supplied.
• Hang the bracket (2) on the pan suspension.
• Insert the pan (3) into the support plate.
If your balance was switched off and disconnected from the power
supply, you can restart it only without the holder (as illustrated
above).
