Scale adjustment

3
Note:
The centre line of each scale
runs exactly through the rotating table's
centre; it serves as reference edge when
cutting. The scale indicates the distance
to the respective arris of the sawn work-
piece.
After a saw blade replacement or if teeth
are heavily worn, each scale should be
zeroed-in again:
1.
Loosen fastening screw (77) on the
centre of the scale and adjust the
scale position, so that the scale indi-
cates the exact distance to the tooth
edge (from the extended centre line
of the scale).
77
2.
Tighten fixing screw and verify set-
ting by making a trial cut.

Rotating table adjust-

Note:
The
rotating
table's
device needs to be inspected from time
to time to ensure the positive detents
match with the mitre angles indicates by
the scale:
1.
Set rotating table to a "0 " mitre
angle and lock with lever (80).
78
2.
Loosen hexagon socket head cap
screw (79) on the lever's (80) pivot
point.
3.
Adjust male nut (81) with open jaw
wrench until reference mark is
exactly in line with the 0 mark of the
rotating table's scale (78).
4.
Tighten hexagon socket head cap
screw (79) (counter male nut (81)
with open jaw wrench) and verify
setting – readjust if necessary.
9.6
Compensation adjust-
ment of the blade return
action.
The compensation of the blade return
action has to be set so that the motor-
head carriage returns completely on its
own without hitting the end position and
coming to a sudden stop.
The compensation adjusting screw (82)
is located below the rotating table, at the
end of the shock absorber (83):
82
83
locking
1.
Turn rotating table 90° to the right.
2.
Set the push/pull action to the centre
position and lock.
3.
The adjusting screw (82) is now
accessible from the left-hand side of
the saw.
To adjust the damping:
turn clockwise = more damping

ing
