30. Children must be supervised, so that they do not play with the
appliance.
31. Before moving or cleaning the appliance, switch it off and
wait for the fan to come to a standstill. Remove the power
plug from the socket. This also applies when the appliance is
not in use.
32. You should take particular caution when children, elderly per-

sons or animals are nearby to the fan.
33. The air flow from the fan should not be directed on elderly or
sick people, resp. children or pets.
34. Never cover the appliance with blankets, clothing items or
similar things during use. The space above the appliance and
around the fan has to be kept free at all times.
35. Never leave the fan unattended while the appliance is in use.
36. Do not place any objects on the appliance.
37. Unwind the power cord fully before plugging the plug into
the socket.
38. Pull the plug after every use. Only then, the appliance is defi-
nitely switched off!
39. Do not mount the appliance on a wall or the ceiling. Never
use it in a lying position! The fan is designed for free-standing
vertical use.
40. Only use a soft, slightly moist towel for cleaning. Aggressive
detergents and solvents or scouring materials could damage
the surface.
41. Make sure that the fan can rotate freely and that its oscillating
movement is not obstructed by any items.
42. Make sure that there are no hair, curtains, drapes, table cloths
or similar items in the vicinity of the fan. They might be sucked
in and cause personal or material damage.
